What is Imagica™?

The Imagica™ system is not merely a sophisticated camera.  It’s is a cutting-edge diagnostic device that employs multi-spectral imaging to capture high-resolution skin photos, offering an in-depth evaluation of your patient’s complexion.

It examines details such as wrinkles, spots, pores, skin tone uniformity, and UV damage, frequently uncovering concerns that are not visible to the naked eye.  Results are benchmarked against a database of individuals sharing the same age and skin type, enabling tailored treatment recommendations and progress tracking. How it Works: The 5 Lighting Sources

SmartFlash™ technology used by the Imagica™ system uses five types of lighting technology to look deeply into your skin: natural, cross-polarized, parallel polarized, wood, and UV lighting.

  1. Natural lighting reveals surface details such as wrinkles and visible spots, similar to what you’d notice when looking in a well-lit mirror.
  2. Cross-polarization penetrates beneath the skin’s surface to expose hidden conditions, revealing issues in development before they become externally visible.
  3. Parallel-polarization enhances the surface details by suppressing subsurface light. This technique is used to reveal details like fine lines, wrinkles, pore structure, and surface roughness that are not visible to the naked eye, providing a quantitative and detailed assessment of the skin's surface texture.
  4. Wood's light (UVB) provides exceptionally clear visualization of Propionibacterium acnes clusters. It can assist in observing lesions in the epidermis and superficial layers of the dermis, earning it the nickname “skin microscope.”  It helps detect bacterial or fungal infections, pigment disorders like vitiligo, and other abnormalities that are not visible under normal light.
  5. Ultraviolet (UV) lighting reveals sun damage that hasn’t yet appeared on the surface, along with bacteria (porphyrins) in pores, helping to anticipate potential skin problems before they emerge.

These five lighting technologies operate seamlessly to deliver a fast, painless scan. Simply place your chin on the cradle as the Imagica™ capture unit captures multiple images, which the software then analyzes to provide a comprehensive skin assessment.

RBO Technology 

Rejuva Fresh's RBO Technology isolates the distinct color patterns of red and brown skin elements, providing unmatched clarity in visualizing conditions like spider veins, hyperpigmentation, inflammation, and more.

  • Red: Represents the hemoglobin in the skin. 
  • Brown: Represents the melanin or brown pigment in the skin. 
  • O: Represents other skin components not captured by the Red and Brown components.
